Lifeguard Certification class in Elkhart May 16,17,18,19. Part of the course will be
online on your own time, skills sessions for skills tests are on the above dates from
9a.m.-3p.m. You must be 15 years of age on or before the 20th of May. Basic skills
tests must be passed to complete the test. These include swimming 300 yards
without stopping (American crawl and/or breaststroke), dive to the bottom of the
deep end, retrieve a 10 pound brick and swim it the length of the pool out of the
water(timed), tread water 2 minutes with no hands. Cost for the course $130.00 will
include book, CPR mask and Certificates. Fees for Renewals vary. Fees are
non-refundable after May 1st. If you are interested, or know someone who might be
